Jay’s goal in life is to find the best way to do everything, which starts with asking why. Why does this provide value? Why is this worth doing? This naturally analytical mindset has led him to excel in the field of data.
He got his start in construction management, quickly learning how to leverage technology and data to increase job-site performance and productivity. He then fell in love with data visualization, which blends complex logic manipulation with artistic communication. His industry experience includes construction/engineering, healthcare, high-tech, marketing analytics and financial services.
Outside of his data journey, Jay enjoys rock climbing, practicing and teaching ashtanga yoga, reading science fiction and philosophy, and pretty much anything having to do with pushing the limits of mind and body.
