Product Design & Research
Mayra approaches product design through both research and craft, grounded in a Master's in User Experience and hands-on leadership on internal design projects at Nike. Their work centers accessibility as a core design principle rather than an afterthought, ensuring products work for the widest possible range of people. Beyond individual features, they think in systems. Building products that scale, adapt to future needs, and resolve conflicts between competing requirements before they become costly problems.

Mayra builds full-stack software with a focus on shipping real, working products. Using React to develop and launch both web and mobile applications, both independently and alongside teams of senior engineers. As a strong advocate for AI-assisted development, they integrate tools like Cursor, Claude, and Codex into their workflow, using them to move faster without sacrificing code quality.

Data Analytics & Engineering
Mayra brings over a year of focused training in data engineering, working hands-on with Databricks and Databricks AI to build and maintain data pipelines. Their technical toolkit spans SQL, Python, and PySpark, applied across pipeline architecture and data migrations. The focus throughout is on moving and structuring data reliably so it's ready for the systems and people who depend on it.
