Travis McElhany

Travis is a growth, marketing, and creative leader with more than 30 years of experience on both the agency and client sides. His career began in design and creative direction before expanding into marketing strategy, business development, and growth leadership. Today, as Head of Growth at Action, he is leading a go-to-market plan that connects clear positioning and ideal-customer focus with partner and referral programs, integrated campaigns, pipeline operations, proposals, and account growth. He has built multiple growth engines for other organizations, and brings that experience to his work without assuming yesterday’s answer is automatically the right one—especially in the rapidly changing world of data and AI.

Travis earned a BFA in Graphic Design and Painting from the University of Missouri–Columbia, and creativity remains an important part of how he thinks and works. He enjoys making art and playing music, although life with four kids—from college age to grade-school age—doesn’t leave quite as much time for either as he might like.
